3D Modelling & Design at HT

At HT Tooling Solutions, every project begins with a thorough understanding of the client’s objectives, timelines, and budget. Only once we have a clear picture of the project parameters do we begin the design process.

Our in-house design team leverages world-class software, including Cimatron for injection mould tooling and Moldex 3D for Finite Element Analysis, to optimise every aspect of the mould design. This allows us to simulate the injection moulding process, refining cooling layouts, melt flow, packing, and warpage to ensure the final part is accurate, manufacturable, and efficient.

Using our Markforged and 3D Systems 3D printing machines, we can produce physical models of parts before tool design begins. This enables design validation, DFM analysis, and early detection of potential issues, ensuring the part meets client expectations.

Only after the design and simulations are fully approved by the client do we move into production, confident that the tooling will deliver reliable, high-quality results.
